How Hue Light Came About
Our story began with Director, Dr. Youn Sung Lee, head of the Immune Research Institute at Hue Light. He initially worked in the engineering and manufacturing industry for 20 years, but after being diagnosed with colon cancer, he closed his business. During his cancer treatment, Dr. Lee continued his studies in alternative medicine and majored in immunophysiology, which inspired him to develop a clinical care system. For BAHI Therapy, the immune doctors use natural healing methods like photobiomodulation therapy, molecular hydrogen therapy, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy to potentially provide relief for a variety of health issues.
During the COVID-19 outbreak, Dr. Lee argued that molecular hydrogen inhalation therapy would serve as a natural remedy to help patients lessen the symptoms of the disease. In the study of hydrogen inhalation therapy, in relation to preventing excessive formation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in human tissues, the company discovered the potential of mixing hydrogen and oxygen gas to prevent a cytokine storm, which can be caused by autoimmune conditions, cancers, monogenic disorders, and pathogens.
